Almeria Airport has a single passenger terminal with three levels designated as P-1, P0 and P1. All domestic and international flights are handled through this terminal, with Arrivals on P0 and Departures on P1.
Regular domestic flights run to Barcelona, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca and Melilla. The airport also has regular international flights to London Gatwick, Munich and Dusseldorf.
This well-equipped, modern airport provides all the amenities a traveller needs. Cafés can be found on each level of the terminal, providing a range of food and drink choices, and including a lovely rooftop café in the Departures Lounge.
There are numerous shopping opportunities at the airport's many shops. Products include souvenirs, gifts, clothing, toys, electronics, tobacco and alcohol. In addition, duty-free shopping is available in the Departures area.
Basic travelling necessities such as ATM machines, pay phones and televisions are available throughout the terminal. There is an information desk on level P0 which can assist with left luggage and other local travel assistance. There are also four travel agents in the terminal, which can assist with tours, bookings and general travel information.
Almeria Airport is designed to be completely accessible to disabled travellers, with lowered telephone booths and specially fitted toilets in the terminal. Ramps and lifts are located throughout the airport to assist with movement between the three levels. Disabled passengers are advised to contact their airline ahead of time if they need specific help with their travels.
